FacePe Inc. (“FacePe”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates biometric identity verification and payment products including FacePe Verify, FacePe Payments, FacePe AI Avatar and FacePe Online. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, store and protect your personal information when you use any FacePe product or service.

By using any FacePe product, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy. If you disagree with any part of this policy, please do not use our services.

2. Data we collect


We collect information necessary to provide secure identity verification and payment services. This may include:

  • Account information — name, email address, phone number, and organization details when you register or contact us.
  • Transaction data — payment amounts, timestamps, merchant identifiers, and device metadata related to checkout or verification events.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, operating system, and diagnostic logs used to maintain service reliability and security.
  • Support communications — messages and attachments you send when requesting demos, pilots, or customer support.

We collect only what is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy and applicable law.

3. Biometric Data


FacePe products may process face embeddings (mathematical vector representations) or other biometric identifiers to verify identity at checkout, online, or in-person. Where required by law, we obtain your informed consent before collecting biometric data.

Biometric templates are encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell biometric data. Templates are used solely to perform verification against your enrolled profile and are not shared for unrelated advertising purposes.

You may withdraw consent for biometric processing where applicable; withdrawal may limit your ability to use biometric-dependent features.

4. How we use Data


We use personal and biometric data to:

  • Authenticate users and prevent fraud across FacePe Verify, Payments, AI Avatar, and Online.
  • Process payments and deliver transaction confirmations to you and your merchant partners.
  • Improve product performance, accuracy, and security through aggregated analytics.
  • Comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our terms.
  • Communicate service updates, security notices, and support responses.

5. Third-Party sharing


We may share data with trusted service providers who assist with hosting, payment processing, fraud prevention, and customer support. These parties are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to FacePe.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality safeguards.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

6. Your Rights


Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights regarding biometric information under applicable law.

7. Data Retention


We retain personal and biometric data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

When data is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymize it in accordance with our retention schedules and industry standards.

8. Security Measures


FacePe implements administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your data, including encryption, access controls, monitoring, and regular security assessments. Our practices are aligned with industry frameworks and compliance programs relevant to payment and identity services.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We encourage you to use strong credentials and report suspected security issues promptly.
